A favorite of the American Indian, shagbark was used as a tonic and anti-inflammatory for pain in the body, muscle, and bone. The natural sugar in the bark is a potent lather additive and skin conditioner. We do not add any essential oils or fragrance oils to this soap. Pure, clean, and totally derived from nature.
